In this role, your responsibilities will have a major impact on the business and your career success as a General Pest Control Technician.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build relationships with clients and the community and complete jobs within a client expected timeframe
- Secure and maintain Pest Control Certifications Core, 7A, & 7F paid for by the company
- Assist Field Specialists with all aspects of General Pest Control Services including wiping down houses with weber attachment, scrape down wasps’ nests, vacuum insects.
- Inspect buildings and premises for signs of pests or infestation and assist in the development of a pest management plan
- Assist in specialty areas by providing support for rodent maintenance, exclusion projects, and wildlife handling
- Learn and understand the basic biology of certain pests to assist in identifying the appropriate pest management plan for potential and actual pest problems
- Maintain exceptional client records by keeping detailed notes of services performed with recommendations for follow-up services, reports and service agreements, and payment information.
- Provide outstanding service by educating clients on additional products and services that will add value and enhance their relationship with the team and company
- Assist with maintaining company vehicles, equipment, electronics, and supplies by performing or recommending general maintenance, replacement, or additional purchases.
- Assist management in any area deemed necessary including equipment maintenance, building maintenance, cleaning, running errands, and general duties.
- work flexible schedule to meet client expectations, including occasional weekends and evenings. May encounter unscheduled events added into a daily route.
- All other duties as assigned.

- Physical requirements: standing, walking, moving, climbing, bending, carrying, kneeling, reaching, pushing, handling, and pulling. The ability to lift up to 50lbs. (reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential tasks)
- Must pass state pesticide applicator licensing exam and maintain license (paid for by the company)
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be able to pass a background screening and pass a drug test upon request.
